Hello JaneLee. Thank you for this valuable comparrison. Helpful to get your audio and written feedback. I am just listening to the two and for me (on my HP PC) the audioboo was staticfree but the sound was quite low. Without changing the volume on my computer I played the CinchCast and it was significantly more crisp and clear sounding.

I was wondering about the difference in volume as well. I am going to test cinch because in using Audio Boo, I am getting glitchy noises; HOWEVER, I am on a laptop that is connecting wirelessly and that may be the reason for the skipping (is what it sounds like). I am going to try cinch and see if there’s a difference. I feel between a rock and hard place right now because there’s no desktop to use that isn’t surrounded by noise and activity…visiting, relatives, holidays, children, etc.

Great idea to do a comparison, Jane! I like the way you think.

There was NO static coming through on my end with either one. However, I really had to “crank up” the volume to hear your Audio Boo recording and I didn’t need to adjust anything in order to hear you nicely on Cinch Cast.

Since I don’t use a microphone, I’m curious to try recording by “phone” like I do on Audio Acrobat and see if the quality is just as good.

Thank you for sharing your experience with both Audio Boo and Cinch Cast.
I use a PC and do no have a MAC. Wonder if you need an external microphone. I have to use an external one for my PC that is why I got the headset/mic.

Good to hear that with Audio Boo you can prerecord snippets and upload lessons of the day. You are more advance than I am with using the Audio Boo system.

Regarding embed codes on Cinch Cast. Go to my page under the tab that says All Cinches if you mouse over your photograph-Download, Link and Embed will appear. Click on embed and a box opens up with an embed code for you to copy and download to blog/website. You can also copy and paste embed codes from your network to share with others. Hope this helps.

I tried both of them Jane and I love the look and colors of cinchcast but it did not allow my MAC to access the microphone.

With my audio boos, I prerecord snippets and I upload the lesson of the day. It does not appear that I can do that with cinchcast.

Also, audio boo creates an embed code so I can post the audio boo on my website. I do not see where I can do that on cinchcast.
