Happy Anniversary! Our Blog is One Year Wiser.
By coachjanelee on Mar 21, 2011 in Blogging
It’s party time. Congratulations! My blogsite is celebrating it’s first year anniversary. We certainly have come a long way since last year. The purpose and intention of having this blog/website was to get into the habit of writing and to share my experiences of being an entrepreneur after leaving corporate america. You could say this was test-lab. Major learning curve and experience to find out what types of articles resonnate with our readers and followers.
Learned several lessons after having a blog for 1 year. This blog/site anniversary is March 21. Baby you certainly have come a long way! Happy Birthday! May you continue to grow to your full potential in the years to come.
A) Blogging takes time as well as diverting traffic to one’s site.
B) If you think you are going to get rich overnight, better think again.
C) Pump up the volume by accentuating your blog with videos, audios, interviews, guest blog posts, etc. Your readers will thank you for it.
D) If you drop-off the face off the earth by falling off the wagon, your readers are so compassionate for they will come back. Always provide content that will be a resource and leads for your readers.
E) Make sure you participate in blog challenges, blogging communities for there you will meet your neighbors and many new found friends.
F) No matter what happens, do not give up on your blog. For one voice will be lost in the crowd and become another statistic of those who started a blog and just vanished.
G) Blogging is a great marketing tool to grow your business.
A big thank you to all my readers and follower for your patience and your continued support.
Happy Blogging!

Congrats on your one year blog anniversary, Jane. Thank you for your recap on what you’ve learned over the year. I know the value of blog challenges myself. My traffic has doubled since joining these communities. Next is working on audio, video, etc.

Thank you for the Congrats. Blogging is like a whole new world. There are just so many aspects to blogging. Even though our blog is a year old. There is so much more to learn and room for growth. Every blogger has their own story to tell and share with the rest of the world.
Congrats Jane!
I like each tip, big on pumping that volume up. Add spice to your blog by offering up variety. Reviews, videos, funny images, etc. The more interesting your blog is the more readers will stick around to read it.
Thanks for sharing!

You are welcome. I am making an effort this year to try different techniques to pump up the volume this year. Like the what you said about “The more interesting your blog is the more readers will stick around to the read it.”
Congrats Jane!
Celebrating a year milestone is a great feeling. Your points of what you’ve learned in a year sound close to what I found out. I think your comment about never giving up is key. Good content, a giving spirit and all the rest add up to a winner.
Happy First Year!

It is such a major milestone. There were days when I wanted to throw in the towel, but never gave up. It takes time to build a successful blog. Now, I got the hang of it. Thank you for the congrats.
Congratulations, Coach Jane! I couldn’t agree with you more about the importance of challenges as well as syndications. It is always great to see other bloggers getting things done!

Thank you for the congrats. Talk about challenges- participating in a 30/31 day blog challenge can be rough, however with the support of the group and getting into a routine makes blogging fun and syndicating it virally.
Happy Anniversary! Great tips! There is always something to learn online!
